Another of Trump’s bogus claims is that he won the election, and that the election was somehow stolen from him. That is absolutely ludicrous. Sadly, many members of the Senate refused to certify the Electoral College results and acknowledge that Biden had won the election fair and square. In perpetuating Trump’s lunacy he was brazen enough to ask the Georgia Secretary of State to find 11,071 votes that were fraudulently cast causing him to lose the election. Even if the Secretary of State did find that many votes that were fraudulent cast, Trump would still have lost the election since Georgia’s 16 electoral college votes would not have changed the outcome of the election. Some news reports suggest that his asking that of the Secretary of State may even be a criminal act. Trump also sued many states saying that the election was rigged or fraudulent because he lost the election in that state. In every state that suit was thrown and confirmed as being baseless.
All across the United States, people are still posting signs or raising flags saying “Trump/Pence 2020” or wearing “MAGA” hats making the proclamation “Make America Great Again.” Those are, of course, good things to do during a presidential campaign to rally support for Donald Trump or other person seeking a political office. But in continuing to display those signs and flags we are speaking as the fool and denying the truth.
I said that you are hypocrites, because you seem to be choosing to believe the lie and refuse to believe the truth as it pertains to Former President Trump. Trump appears to consider himself as a god who can do no wrong. In that sense, those who refuse to believe otherwise may be guilty of worshipping him as a god. Think about it.
The first three of the Ten Commandments are:
· “You shall have no other gods before me.
o Have you made Trump a god?
· “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.
· You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
o Are you worshipping Trump as your god?
§ Because you believe everything that he says is the truth?
§ Because he says that everything he says or does is the truth.
o It certainly would appear as if the only person that Trump cares about is Trump.
Some other verses that come to mind concerning a fool are:
Proverbs 14:5-8
o “A faithful witness does not lie … Go from the presence of a foolish man … the folly of fools is deceit.”
§ It seems as if Donald Trump is at least sometimes deceitful.
· Proverbs 3:3
o “Let not mercy and truth forsake you.”
§ Are you seeking the truth or is truth forsaking you?
· Proverbs 12:15-17
o “The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who heeds counsel is wise. A fool’s wrath is known at once, but a prudent man covers shame. He who speaks truth declares righteousness, but a false witness, deceit.”
§ Are you speaking the truth when you perpetuate or declare the deceit of Trump and his cronies as if it were the truth?
§ Donald Trump obviously thinks that he is right, but he has proven over and over again that he will not listen to or receive counsel from anyone who might disagree with him.
· Proverbs 17:21
o “he who begats a scoffer, does so at his own sorrow.”
§ By supporting Trump and his lies are you guilty of “begetting” a scoffer?
· Proverbs 18:2-6
o “a fool has no delight in understanding, but in expressing his own heart … a fool’s lips enter into contention and his mouth calls for blows … A fool’s mouth is his destruction and his lips the snare of his soul.”
§ It seems as if Trump has no delight in understanding or speaking the truth.
§ He seems to care only for himself and expressing his own heart disregarding what might be good for anyone else, especially when he was president.
· Psalm 19:3
o “The foolishness of a man twists his way and his heart frets against the law.”
§ Think about this – Is it true that Trump’s heart frets against the law as seeks to overturn the results of the lawful election for president.
· Psalm 19:5
o A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who speaks lies will not escape.”
§ He who speaks lies will not escape.
· Trump his already facing federal and state charges for his lies and many of his actions.
§ A false witness will not go unpunished
· Have you become a false witness by giving credence to Trump’s lies?
· If so, will you be punished? Punished by God?
· Ecclesiastes 10:2-3
o “A wise man’s heart is at his right hand, but a fool’s heart is at his left. Even when a fool walks along the way, he lacks wisdom, and he shows everyone that he is a fool.”
§ A fool is a fool is a fool.
§ Everyone knows or should know that he is a fool because he what says or does shows that he is a fool.
§ Donald Trump has done just that. The leaders from around the world have said that he is a fool and were very hesitant to do business with him or the United States.
